Deacon possesses a flair and fire in performance that completely masks his secret, special gift. Beyond the ebullient, flamboyant stage persona is one of the sweetest, wittiest, and most elegant writer/composer imaginable.  Raised in Richmond, Indiana Deacon started his music career playing trumpet. It wasn’t long before Deacon was behind the organ.
